KoalaQueue

Why us

The fee does not move with the answer.

Most playlist pitching quietly pays for yes. Somewhere in the model — a bonus, a ranking, a curator who gets more pitches when they add more — saying yes is worth more than saying no. Once that is true, every review on the platform is worth less, because you can never tell which ones were earned.

KoalaQueue pays $0.50 for every credit a completed review cost, and pays it identically on an add and on a pass. Bigger playlists cost more credits and earn more per review; that is reach, never the answer. There is no bonus, no ranking boost, and nothing anywhere that is tied to how often a curator says yes. It is one function in the code and there is a test that fails if the two amounts ever differ.

What you are actually buying

A listen and an opinion, in writing. A curator cannot answer until they have had the track playing for 60 seconds, and cannot submit fewer than 20 words. If nobody answers inside 72 hours the credit returns to you automatically and the curator is paid nothing — the clock is not a courtesy, it is the product.

Who the curators are

Real people with real playlists. Ownership is verified through Spotify, and the numbers are screened on the way in: a follower count that jumped without the listening to match is the shape of a bought playlist, and it is turned away with the reason said out loud. There is no follower minimum while we are starting out — a small real list beats a big bought one.

What we will never do

  • Sell placements, streams or followers.
  • Guarantee, estimate or imply that your track will be added to anything.
  • Touch a curator's playlist. They add the track themselves, in Spotify, or they do not.
  • Hide who you are pitching to. Playlists run by us appear here like any other, labelled as ours, paid the same, ranked no higher.

Any service selling you streams or placements is breaking Spotify's rules and putting your catalogue at risk. This is not that, and it says so here rather than in a terms page nobody reads.
