Curators

Get paid to listen properly.

$0.50 per credit a review cost — up to $2.00 on the biggest lists — the same whether you add the track or pass on it. Nothing here pays you to say yes, which is the only reason your opinion is worth buying.

1 — Put a playlist forward

Four short steps. Ownership is checked through Spotify, and the numbers are checked by a person before anything is approved.

2 — Get pitches in your genres

Only the genres you picked, ordered by deadline — the one about to lapse is the one worth opening, because that is where an artist is about to get nothing.

3 — Listen, decide, write it down

60 seconds before the verdict unlocks, 20 words minimum. Then you are paid, whichever way you went.

What you get

  • Set your own genre preferences — up to six per playlist, change them whenever your taste does
  • Your own response time — say how fast you usually answer; artists see it before they pitch
  • A curator analytics dashboard — reviews per week, earnings, on-time rate, how tracks landed, playlist by playlist
  • Priority placement in artist searches — founding curators are listed first, permanently
  • A permanent Founding Curator badge — for the first 50 approved curators, and it never comes off
  • Free, always — no subscription, no card, nothing taken out of what you earn

What we ask of a playlist

  • Any follower count — real ones, for now
  • Growth under +40% in 30 days — a spike with no listening behind it is what a bought list looks like
  • 0.10+ monthly listeners per follower — somebody is actually playing it
  • Six months old — long enough to have earned the rest

None of these disqualify you on their own. The pair that matters is a spike alongside low listening.

The follower floor will rise. As the network grows, the follower minimum for new playlists will rise. The first stage, with no minimum, ends on December 31, 2026. After that the floor steps up to 100, then 500, then 1,000 followers, with notice before each step. Playlists already approved keep their place.

Getting paid

One exception, said up front: a pitch an artist paid for with their free welcome credits is marked as a free-trial pitch in your queue, and its fee is held until that artist buys credits — then it is paid like any other. It is what stops free credits on throwaway accounts being turned into payouts.

Earnings add up per review and are paid out from $20.00 — below that a transfer costs more than the fee. You ask, we send it, and the reference appears against the request. We never ask for bank details; whatever a person needs to pay another person is enough.
