Credit pitches: a written review in 72 hours, or your credits back 🎧
Pick curators, see the price before you send, and get at least 20 words from somebody who listened for 60 seconds — inside 72 hours, or the credits come back on their own.
- 72h or credits back
- 60s timed listen
- 20+ word review
This is the heart of KoalaQueue: you send a track to a curator, and you get a real listen and a written review back. Here is exactly what happens when you do.
How to send one
On your artist dashboard, open Pitch a track, paste the track link, and pick Credit pitch. Filter the curators by genre and reach, tick the ones you want, and the total shows before you press send. Each curator costs 1 to 4 credits, set only by the playlist's follower count: 1 credit under 5,000 followers, 2 from 5,000, 3 from 25,000 and 4 from 100,000. Every new artist starts with 5 free credits.
What the curator has to do
- Listen. The add and pass buttons stay locked until the track has played for 60 seconds, timed by our server from the moment they opened it.
- Write. At least 20 words, plus a mood — 🐨 Fast asleep, 🌿 Chewing leaf, 🕶️ Wide awake, ⚡ Drop bear — that says how the track landed, separate from the verdict.
- Answer in time. They have 72 hours. If they miss it, the credits go back to you automatically and the curator is paid nothing. You do not have to ask.
Following it
Each pitch in Your results shows where it is: sent, opened by the curator, then reviewed — or "No answer — credit back". One pitch per curator per track, unless the first one lapsed unanswered.
The honest limits
The 60-second check makes the honest path the easy one; it is not a lock a determined cheat cannot pick. What makes cheating pointless is that the curator is paid $0.50 per credit whether they add your track or pass. And a credit buys a listen and an opinion, never a placement — nobody here can promise an add, and we do not track playlists afterwards.
