The Made with AI mark, and curators who take no AI tracks 🤖
Artists can mark a track as made with AI before they pitch it. Curators can choose not to receive marked tracks. It runs on honesty — nothing here scans audio.
- Your word, not a scan
- “No AI tracks” option
- Same rule, free or paid
Some curators are happy to hear tracks made with AI. Some run playlists that are not. Both are fair, and the simplest way to respect both is to let artists say so up front.
For artists
In Pitch a track on your dashboard, press Made with AI if AI generated or performed a meaningful part of the track. It is off unless you turn it on. Curators see a small AI mark on the pitch before they listen.
With it on, playlists that take no AI tracks drop out of the list you can pick from, so you never spend a credit — or a free pitch — on somebody who was always going to say no.
For curators
In Your playlist settings, each playlist has a No AI tracks switch. With it on, tracks marked as made with AI are not offered to that playlist, free or paid. That includes the waiting queue: a marked track held for your genre keeps waiting for somebody who takes it rather than being sent to you.
The honest limits
The mark is the artist's own word. Nothing on KoalaQueue analyses audio or tries to detect AI, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. An unmarked track is a track the artist did not mark, not a track we checked.
The same goes the other way: a review should be a real listen in a real person's words, and an artist can report one that reads as AI-written. Being straight with each other is how this works on both sides of the pitch.
