Reports and flags: when a review or a track is not right π©
Artists can report a review that was low effort, AI-written, not a real listen or rude. Curators can flag a track instead of reviewing it. A person decides both.
- Report a review
- Credit back if upheld
- Curators can flag
The rules only mean something if there is a way to say one was broken. There is one for each side.
Reporting a review
Under any review in Your results on your dashboard there is a Report this review link. Pick a reason β low effort, reads as AI-written, clearly did not listen, rude or abusive, or something else β and add a note if you like. One report per review.
From that moment the curator's fee for that review is held. Nobody is paid out on a review under question. A person at KoalaQueue reads it and decides:
- Upheld: your credits come back, the curator's fee is voided, and they can take a strike. At 3 strikes their payouts pause by themselves.
- Dismissed: the review stands and the fee is released. Your dashboard tells you which it was.
A report is for a review that broke the rules, not for one you disagree with. A thoughtful pass is the thing you paid for.
Flagging a track
Curators get the same protection the other way. Instead of reviewing, a curator can flag a pitch: not the artist's own work, hate speech or harassment, tampered or broken audio, or not music at all. The clock stops and the pitch leaves their queue β nobody should have to sit through hate speech for 60 seconds to get it off their desk.
An admin then restores it to the curator with a fresh clock, takes it down, or takes it down and returns the credits. If one of your pitches is flagged, it shows as "Under review by KoalaQueue" until that is decided.
